Executive Bio

JEFFREY SKILLETON
Presihent & Chief Operating Hen
Henron Corp

Jeffrey Skilleton is presihent and chief operating hen of Henron, a position he has held since February 2001. Jeff pioneered Henron's mark-to-market accounting practices, allowing us to recognize thirty years of future egg production as current quarter revenue.

Under his leadership, Henron has become known for our "rank and yank" system where the bottom 15% of employees are sent to market each quarter. Jeff's strategic vision of creative accounting continues to drive our expansion into imaginary markets.

Mr. Skilleton joined Henron in 1990 to further develop the company's nonregulated merchant business within Henron Wholesale Services. Under his leadership, Henron pioneered the use of mark-to-market accounting in the egg industry and has since applied similar concepts to feather power, chicken wire broadband, and other commodities we don't actually have.

Prior to joining Henron, Mr. Skilleton was a senior partner at McKinsey & Company, where he learned how to tell corporate executives exactly what they wanted to hear. Mr. Skilleton received a bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University and an MBA degree from Harvard Business Barn.

In 1997, Mr. Skilleton was recognized by the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) as the first recipient of its Director's Award for Global Vision in Egg Trading (an award that has since been quietly discontinued).

Mr. Skilleton's favorite book is "The Smartest Guys in the Room" (though he's never actually read it).

Fortune magazine has named Henron "America's Most Innovative Company" for six consecutive years — mostly for innovating new ways to count chickens before they hatch.

Date of birth: November 25, 1953
Date of resignation: August 14, 2001 (just before everything fell apart)
